I played scorched earth back in the 80's... on an apple and frankly seeing it out now it's not changed much. Tho the 3d one does look better I suppose. Personally so far I don't think much of any of the current tank games out that are open source. The ones I've seen all look kind of graphically "chunky" and need a better polygon count or something.
