I had to make a trip to Wasington state from the British Columbia side to mail some business letters a few years back (because of a postal strike on our side). I went in to ask if I had to pay duty, and the guard pulled his gun on me and screamed "I can tear your ****ing car apart if I want, what do you think about that"?

Now, tell me what the HELL you would have to do to get a reaction like that? I've been around the world twice now, and America is still the place I feel least comfortable.
