But I highly doubt he'll appreciate the kind of "outing" he's really doing. It is a fact that I do believe in being environmentally responsible, that does not mean I will not support things like Hunting, Fishing, Off-Road Vehicles, logging etc. So long as things are done with an eye towards it's effect on the environment I often support it.

One of my funniest examples is, before our shooting club in California bought land for a private range other people who did not like what we did would come out to our range (which was also used by the local PDs, BLM, and Sheriff's offices) usually in the middle of the night and dump trash, yard waste etc on the range. Sharpened sticks planted in the ground point up are a good indication of their intent. Every few months we would clean it and the surrounding area up, then one guy got an idea and we did a massive clean up of the range and the surrounding area. We were sure to involve the BLM and the local media. We made it a semi-annual event and pretty soon the trash quit coming. Guess the didn't like all the good press we were getting.
