their family. The site is indeed important reading, and even to the harshest critics of the war should show that there is good being accomplished over there which deserves notice. On a tangent, this sort of treatment for women was not and is not unique to Iraq - perhaps in its scale and intensity, but certainly not in its philosophy. Women are considered property to be kept, discarded or even killed in other Muslim Middle Eastern countries as well. This, while not a free website - I wish it were - is also something more people ought to read. You're absolutely right in saying that a moral and responsible world should (/would) not be ignoring these problems. Thanks for posting the link.
