my dad let me taste his smoke -once only- when i was really too young to fake that i liked it. I seem to have remembered ever after, so never took the habit. And my dad ... quit smoking and then discovered how disgusting it was for non-smokers.
Normally i can cope well with smokers, it's just their smell of stale ashes creeping into my clothes ...
But i can imagine your craving for "fire hoses". I they were installed right before they enter that elevator / stairway, they would stop lighting them.
If co-workers responded by lighting e.g. those indian scent-sticks ... but of those we don't know the dangers, do we?
Oh, lets light little firecracker sticks, should be easy to find in small quantities around this time. And if it's done often enough, the boss WILL install your smoke-extinguishers.
(now starting to feel bad for suggesting this violent solution right before christmas ... it should not be "PC" to do so) |
