Regarding this post yesterday, is it possible to proclaim that something sucks objectively? Does the fact that it may be wildly popular with others necessarily indicate that it doesn't suck? Does it only suck in comparison with a paragon of its genre? Can an entire genre suck? My best example for this is the difference between a Ruth's Chris steak and a McDonald's hamburger. They're both beef, but the Mickey D's is inferior to the steak so it can be said to suck. Discuss.
