Rounding is a problem for OS developers and app/embedded developers alike. I haven't heard of any serious rounding issues in Windows, but then I wouldn't expect any. In things like graphics, and in a non real time OS, rounding isn't really critical.

Most operations where rounding is an issue (matrix manipulation, for example) the standard algorithms already account for rounding problems.
