and i cannot explain it rationaly. That illustrious "someone" had his theory about "little pores in the skin, who close up when you hold your breath", but i -still- cannot find any "scientific" backup.
The whole thing worked, though, much to my surprize.
But then: i could have been just lucky, or it could be weather-dependent (that would be hazardous to try, unless you don't mind the itch)
Either way: running through a bush like that won't HURT you, but almost all your "hunters" will back-off: they don't THINK, and for them nettles are as bad as thistle, poison ivy, hogweed (beware of thAt) or other plants-that-itch-or-sting.
And still i find it hard to believe. |
