The Right Reverend Bush is at it again by Blackbyrd22006-11-19 12:55:59
  Having reviewed *most* of the posts, by Blackbyrd2 2003-11-06 23:48:43
and not wanting to be branded a complete troll. ;)

I mistook the article's comment about no exception if a woman's health were at risk, for a woman's life.

Having conceded that, my post about it not being Congress' place to make medical decisions stands.

My comments about Bush's playing to the Moral Majority, Bible-belters or the ultra conservatives, as well as his inability to see anything other than black/white also stand.

The fact that Congress wrote the law, and Bush *just* signed it is irrelevant. It only means we have more than one politican playing the same game.

And Bush's comment about public perception was reported as;
"He said he would not seek a total ban on abortion because public opinion had not yet shifted to support such a move."

Note the 'yet' in there. He's setting it up.

Bush's comments in the article are enough to brand him as too religious (IMO) to be running a country where religion and government are supposed to be separated.

I probably won't be online much, as I pointed out above, so if I don't follow this discussion, that will be why. It won't be because I'm just stirring the pot.
