at the Atkins store nearby. Funny about the salad dressings. My favorite (pre diet) is Marie's Creamy Italian Garlic, and, guess what? *ZERO carbs* (so I've been having a lot of that). I also found some "oriental" dressing at the diet store that's a good switchover for when I get sick of creamy italian, and I think will make a great sauce for baking chicken.

I just had leg of lamb for dinner, for the first time in about 15 years (my spouse isn't into lamb, so I could never justify cooking one until now)

I've been slamming tons of water. The caffeine withdrawl is also tough to handle. I have to find some sweetened drinks that I like, because water is OK, but sometimes I need just a little variety, you know?

I'm not big on nuts - I only really like walnuts. I am looking forward to being able to eat strawberries and blueberries again in another week, and not feeling guilty about the whipped cream. :-D

I don't mind sticking with the diet, because I've been losing about 1 pound per day so far, and I've got 65 pounds to drop total to reach my goal weight.

And I've been eating about 20x more spinach than I've ever done (I prefer spinach to lettuce in salads these days). Plus the no guilt over mushrooms sauteed in butter... yum.
