Invoke: NOLA, McNutcase etc. by dire_lobo 2006-11-19 12:55:59
I wanted to show y'all this so it didn't get buried.
McNutty and the rest of the "tippin the Pizza crew" - I wanted to say that:
1) I have learned more about other cultural perspectives, social structures, world-views and morals here than I have in ANY other place - this is a good thing. Being a Ufie as expanded my world view.
2) I recognize that my values, opinions and viewponts are by nature a product of who and where I am, my cultural experiences and my place in the socioeconomic struture of this country. I do not feel that it is any better (or worse) than that of another.
3) Sometimes I have to remind myself that.
4) Like now.
5) Thanks for listening, thanks for letting me learn, thank you for entertaining me, I hope I do the same on occasion. Keep up the good work!
