you can "double up" on the missed pill the next day. You may feel sick to your stomach, but it works.

And this *other* little tidbit I got from a Planned Parenthood employee ... (note: this is NOT official medical advice!)... you can take 3 BC pills at once "the morning after" to prevent implantation of the fertilized egg. I think there are adverse effects if you do this a lot, but in an emergency...
