The FACT is pizza delivery folks are paid the same as wait-staff. About 3.00 an hour based on the governments assumtion that people will be civilized and they will get tipped. Even if you don't - they pay taxes on what you should have done. Therefore, they get taxed on income you were to insensitive or greedy to provide.
If you dont' want to tip, get off you lazy ars and go pick it up - you are NOT paying for the delivery service, you are only paying for the product. If you want service, you should expect to to treat those who serve you with dignity and respect - and thus, you should tip. 15 percent minimum, 20 for respectable service and more if it is justified. IF the service sucks, you should contact a manager and explain why you are not leaving a tip.
If you do not tip, you are in essence the one who is stealing - taking food from the mouths of those who are less fortunate than yourself. Oh, and you might want to ask all the un and under-employed Ufies just how easy it is to GET A BETTER JOB. |
