US, not sure what the going rate is, I'd probably play safe and fall back to the standard assumed tip of around 15% UK, if it took over 30 minutes to show up nothing. You tip for good service not for doing their job. Earlier than that would probably just be a keep the change type of tip, somewhere in the 5-10% range depending on how generous I was feeling.
