and read Weephun's post again. The part I was responding to (with the distractions edited out) is:
... `I really didn't mean to get pregnant' ... `I guess now it's OK to completely sidestep the consequences of my actions and choices.'

Weephun implied that a girl/woman might see abortion is an easy quick fix. It is not, and I don't think any woman who can spell "abortion" would think so either. In the best of circumstances it is traumatic, painfull and even a little risky. The circumstances are far from "best" in the USA or Canada. Laws here are spotty and variable. Even a legal abortion is likely to attract pro-life attention. After all that, there is a lifetime of wondering whether it was the right thing to do.
