A Question of Values by Illiad2003-11-06 09:01:28
I guess the order would be by Nea 2003-11-06 09:25:53
1] A driving tour of $Foreign.Countries.With.Much.History
2] An archaeological dig in $Some.Ancient.Place
3] Holing up at home with good books and food
4] (tie) A hiking/camping trip in $Temperate.And.Green.Lands
4] (tie) A luxury cruise in $Warm.Region.With.Blue.Water
5] Languishing in a resort in $Sun.Belt.Location
6] Backpacking in $Rugged.Mountain.Ranges

This is assuming I can get out of the car and explore at any time I want during the driving tour.

My reasons? I love poking through history and I don't tend to like resort activities. I enjoy mild hiking, but I'm not into pushing myself too hard on a vacation (they are supposed to be relaxing, right?) so that's why the rugged backpack trip ended up at the bottom.

And what is it with people only wanting to go to warm places? Heat just makes me tired and grouchy, there's a reason I live in the fog. How about some cooler weather choices, a ski resort for example?
