- 1) A luxury cruise in the Carribbean
- I might change my mind after having been on a cruise ship, but for my money, life wouldn't get any better than that.
- A hiking/camping trip in some Appalachian foothills
- This has the advantage of not having to tip lavishly. Still, it's only a close second to a cruise ship.
- Backpacking in the Rockies
- I've been there now. I've seen what real mountains are. I'd like to see them some more. This would be the top of my list but for my tricky knees.
- An archaeological dig in anywhere dinosaurs used to be
- I still think dinosaurs are rad. Digging for them might be a blast as well, but it sounds most tedious. Especially since I couldn't use dynamite.
- A driving tour of Europe
- I admit it. I just want to speed madly down the autobahn. But I ranked this low because driving just gets boring after a few hours. If I were to see Europe in such a leisurely fashion, I'd rather backpack it.
- Languising in a resort in anywhere with a beach.
- I live in Florida, for Chrissakes. I would prefer to feel like I was on vacation.
- Holing up at home with good books and food
- I nearly fell asleep just reading about that, such a boring month that would be. I have to be in a mood to read, and that mood never lasts two fortnights. Plus, this is such a solitary activity that I'd go mad after just a couple of days. No thank you.
