A Question of Values by Illiad2003-11-06 09:01:28
  Right, then. by nin_man 2003-11-06 09:23:07
  1. 1) A luxury cruise in the Carribbean
    • I might change my mind after having been on a cruise ship, but for my money, life wouldn't get any better than that.
  2. A hiking/camping trip in some Appalachian foothills
    • This has the advantage of not having to tip lavishly. Still, it's only a close second to a cruise ship.
  3. Backpacking in the Rockies
    • I've been there now. I've seen what real mountains are. I'd like to see them some more. This would be the top of my list but for my tricky knees.
  4. An archaeological dig in anywhere dinosaurs used to be
    • I still think dinosaurs are rad. Digging for them might be a blast as well, but it sounds most tedious. Especially since I couldn't use dynamite.
  5. A driving tour of Europe
    • I admit it. I just want to speed madly down the autobahn. But I ranked this low because driving just gets boring after a few hours. If I were to see Europe in such a leisurely fashion, I'd rather backpack it.
  6. Languising in a resort in anywhere with a beach.
    • I live in Florida, for Chrissakes. I would prefer to feel like I was on vacation.
  7. Holing up at home with good books and food
    • I nearly fell asleep just reading about that, such a boring month that would be. I have to be in a mood to read, and that mood never lasts two fortnights. Plus, this is such a solitary activity that I'd go mad after just a couple of days. No thank you.
