If they twisted my arm, it would be the archaeological dig, because there's a chance it will be interesting. The problem with all the others is that they are either physical activity (and that includes the dig), or a great bordom, or both. Luxury cruise, Driving Tour, Languishing in a resort - that's all the same, and it's terribly boring. Backpacking or hiking - too much trouble, and it's also basically boring.
