the people out there who haven't paid attention to the movies and spout off about how something doesn't make sense. None of this stuff can really be classified as a spoiler, so I'm not going to mark it as such. All of it references stuff that happened in the first two. In Reloaded, you get Baines going crazy because he's been turned into a Smith before he was able to exit. He then exits. How is it that so many people can't understand how Smith got to him? Were they all drunk when this took place? I also don't get how so many people decided that Zion was destroyed at the end of Reloaded. I came away from the movie thinking it was just the ships that went to attack the diggers that were destroyed and my sister sends me a message asking me how they could kill everyone in Zion with a movie left in the works. As for the neo-as-a-machine theory: How does that make sense at all? Why would the machines insert an anitomically correct android with no self-awareness into a pod and plug it into the matrix?
