Being a Christian does not make it hypocritical by altordwm2003-11-06 06:09:08
The hypocrisy is in the "right to life" thing. by skeptic2003-11-06 07:17:32
But that is not what he said by altordwm 2003-11-06 07:33:48
He said it was hypocritical to be a Christian and support the death penalty. I gave evidence in support of the contrary.

If one uses the phrase "pro-life" to describe themselves on the abortion issue, then I agree that it is hypocritical to be in support of the death penalty.

However, there are people (including many Christians) who are anti-abortion and for the death penalty. Some people have simply forfeited their right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
