The reason I mentioned adding glasses to your selection in a previous post (the one where you asked for advice) was because when I was in my accident, I was wearing sunglasses and the visor for my helmet was somehow knocked out. Across both lenses on my shades were nasty scrapes from rocks and whatnot. So yeah.. helmet will said your noggin.. shades will save your eyes. =) (just make sure that they're wrap-around or something that fits your eyes closely, that way they sometimes help with dust too)
