...I have a friend who grew up in a catholic part of ireland. One night in the pub whilst holding court as usual, she said they'd had no sex education, but they all, by the age of 14, knew how to get an abortion. They knew which ferry to get, where in England they had to go, how much all this would cost, and which friends they could trust to cover for them. On the whole, they weren't quite sure what caused pregnancy, or that contraception existed.
Personally, as soon as I've got some more holiday due, I'm getting sterilised. |
