The Right Reverend Bush is at it again by Blackbyrd22006-11-19 12:55:59

      I can't prove a negative. by slayer2003-11-06 02:26:50
That is neither my responsibility by Blackbyrd2 2003-11-06 03:24:13
nor obligation. I am not proposing the law.

The problem is that the law (and its proponents, including Bush) assumes that it HAS proven a negative.

What this law does is act as a medical expert, and state that there is no circumstance in which a third term abortion is legal. Lawyers are not medical experts, and even if they had brought in one or two, or twenty dozen, it is obvious that the opinion is not unanimous.

You yourself stated that you could not prove that case.

Without this provision, the doctors have no choice. They can not act in their professional capacity. They may even have to violate their Hippocratic oaths.

We are taking the choice away from those most suited to make it.
