Schematics of the TV!
20 years ago, every TV had the schematics in the back or inside.
Find the spot(s) where the "TV" suplies the signal for the channelnumber and simmilar stuff, feed your signal to the same spot (and get the sinc. signal from the same source).
I know it sounds simple, but it's not! I used to repair radios and TV's in the late 70's and early 80's. They could have moved those functions in a single chip in those 20 years :-(

You will risk destroying the TV! (and yourself with the 25KV on the tube!)
