The best writing advice I stole from Wil Wheton's site (or anywhere really) was to give yourself permission to suck. You can always fix it up afterwards. It is so true! Of course, that's assuming that you're not doing your thing the night before/morning of it's due date and it's worth 45% of your final grade in one of 4 Master's classes which determine your average and therefore you eligibility for funding ... but hey, you can suck then, too, if you want. (and no, haven't quite faced that exact situation ... yet).
