Why modify the tv signal	by Control	2003-11-06 01:24:20
isn't it much simpler to just merge two signals, one from your tv cable, and the other from the tv-out of your computer. Just set the tv-out signal to a transparent mask, and add you picture when mail arrives. Never done this, but I do remember seeing someone merging his desktop with the tv signal, and having win2k on every channel with the current programm as desktop background(completely unusable btw).
