Lets face it, this guy is a puppet. For every one of his "ideas", there is a (perhaps evil?) voice whispering in his ear.
A president doesn't really run a country, at least not one the size of the US. There are hoards of underlings rushing back and forth in the Whitehouse, doing all the real work. People who don't get replaced with every election.
Anyway, I don't think the guy is smart enough to have his own opinions. The CIA claims Saddam has a doomsday device, he buys it. Some altra-right fundraiser tells him all abortion is bad, then that's what he believes.
Time to start pointing the finger of blame into the shadows.
