I've got a little guy with dread locks and sunglasses hanging off my back pack. I blend in with the bicycle messengers on my time off better than I do the rest of the office drones. Right now I'm just going to the park and ride on the bike, not all the way down town. I'm still bussing it in. Once I get more comfortable with the bike (especially after the bus fares go up next year) I may start parking down town. Thats when the under 12 miles a day become closer to 60 and I'll definately need more on. Fortunately I can take the HOV lane on a bike.
