My son just got back from school... seems he got burnt by an iron in sewing class.(I'd of thought they may of thought twice about letting him use that one thing as they know about his fine motor problems and stuff) He got burned on the inside of his right fore arm about 2 in above the wrist. He wouldn't let me put zinc cream on it... He reluctantly let me put solarcain on it... then he pleaded with me to let him wrap a tensor bandage on it... Finally I gave in(first time he's got a burn like that since he was 2 ... he had high pain tolerance and before I could stop him touched a hot thing on the stove at the time back then) so then loosely wrapped his arm up. Trying to figure out how I convince him letting the air at it to help it heal might be a good thing or how to get him to allow me to stick zinc on it... Tho I suppose I could wait til he's asleep and try it or my roommates home.(he's big, he's male, and he can be intimidating and I don't think my son would say no to him saying put it on your arm)
