long distant love... by Celticess2003-11-03 08:08:36
  i must admint... by out2lunch 2003-11-03 09:36:05
im not a telephone person but it is very easy to talk to my SO(which lives in NY while im in louisiana = 1361.3 miles away) for 6-8 hour stretches on the phone. its amazing the how in synch you become even when so far away. we call each other at the same time, sometimes even pick up the phone and shes there because we are calling at the same exact time. ive never had a long distance relation ship before(longest was probably 20 miles) and now its going to be hard to visit her even once a month. but its definately worth it...just very hard. doubt seems to creep in easily when you dont have the physical aspect to connect with. things like are you sure about this? and will this work out? are common questions between us. the distance between us is cruel and we are not sure when we will be able to see each other. ive got to finish school here at lsu and she is working on some things in NY. hope of more time together in the near future is all we have to hold on to right now. its difficult to hold on to something so seemingly intangible at the moment while your emotions are running full blast. difficult but very worth it.
