But arguing that the motivation for using everything possible from the animal is to maximize the returns on the investment of time and energy and the risk of killing the animal, not that it was due to ethical/moral concerns. And because they DIDN'T have an overabundance. I think. Not that I'd ever put words in someone's mouth. ;)
