Sure, we have modern 'Space-age' fabrics and other materials, but our basic naked human bodies are incapable of surviving without them, in a large portion of this planet.
Without our ancestors taking animal skins and fasioning crude clothing, we would never have come as far as we have, if we even survived that is...
What would a PETA person do if they were suddenly transported to the distant past? Yep, that's right. They would kill the first animal they came upon and make a fur coat out of it. Unless they wanted to freeze to death. (I am supposing this phantom PETA person would be in the same clime with a similar outfit that am currently wearing...) Oh, and since they wouldn't have the convenience of a local vegan grocery store, they would also eat the animal...
If people want to wear fur, I say let them wear fur. It's their choice. It won't destroy my life if they do so. Just like if people wanted to be a vegan, if that's their choice then that's their choice. It won't impact me positively or negatively for them to do so. |
