Am I hearing things?... by SuaveRedSalami 2003-11-01 21:36:42
Any Amon Tobin fans here? Upon hearing his track "El Wraith"... My first reaction is "That's music from Alien 3!" Sure enough, the first 20 seconds or so of "El Wraith" sounds very very similar to the music playing in Alien 3 during the scene when Ripley gets cornered by the Alien in the infirmary (after it grabs the doctor guy through the curtain and kills him). I can't find any websites to confirm this though. So is it a different track that just sounds the same (hmm.. plagiarism? Alien 3 came out first I think...) or did they use Amon Tobin's work, but not credit him for some reason? Has anyone here even heard of Amon Tobin?
