Woke up this morning and was headding out with my roommate to army and navey. He needed some coveralls for work/school(he's doing machinist apprenticeship and has to go back to finish his cnc and stuff come the new year) and I was going for some nightshirts. Well we get to the truck. Few months back the passanger door got punched by someone trying to break in when he was in classes(at the school parking). They couldn't get his ham radio as it's bolted to the floor with airline cable. Well this morning we found someone punched the drivers door. So we couldn't get into the truck. So he had to break into his truck similar to how the theives did so we could go out and while he pondered if he should try insurance or not.(he wasn't sure what coverage he had) But he obviously has to replace the locks as he can't lock his truck otherwise. He's also now thinking of an alarm.(second time it's been broken into at this house) :( I did suggest a false blinky light with switch under the dash. At night if theives see it they presume alarm and wont persue as they don't want to risk it and want an easy hit... but he's going to get a alarm that is door sensor only. Anyways we got our shopping done and now he's about to call the insurance company.
