People on this board have encountered circular dependencies; the simplest version is when you try to install package foo. It errors out, saying it can't be installed without package baz installed first. You try to install baz to fix this, and it errors out saying that package baz cannot be installed without you having first installed package foo. You head to the bar, and then come home, throw the RPM distro's discs out the window and get something less broken.
