even chicken pox and the flu now. Smallpox is no longer given. Only us children of the 60's and maybe those in the 70's got it. By the 80's they had declaired smallpox extinct and stopped vaccinations. The US tho got really paranoid for awhile after the 9/11 stuff and started hording and mass producing small pox vaccinine again amoung a few other things. The live cultures and some vaccine samples from the original vaccinations that people like me got were frozen for use later and for perhaps further study if needed. There are some very very awful things in containment in many countries around the world. Canada has a contaiment facility with vaccines they work on. However we don't look at them as weapons... other than against other illnesses. Some old or rare "bugs" are tested on a variety of things in hopes some strain of them may cure a disease. They've tried some on cancer cells for example. No offense to americans but what do you expect from a government that created things like agent orange. The US isn't totally innocent in certain types of warfare. They got more quiet on how they did it tho. And their focus on certain aspects of thease bugs certainly doesn't help soldiers... such as those poor fellows suffering from gulf war illness.(soldiers can't say no don't give me that weird looking stuff that you claim is for x thing... they are ordered and in a way don't even have to be told what it is... they must take it or get courtmarshalled, etc)
