The US gets mad about violations of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban treaty. They haven't even signed on, but they could, because they've *already tested* their nuclear weapons, and have enought to destroy the entire world many times over.
I used to thing that it was fine that the US had nuclear weapons, because they were "the good guys" but the fact that George Bush seems so warlike (whatever happened to "thou shalt not kill?") and the fact that he even considered the "nuclear option" in the Iraq conflict, where the other side had next to nothing, makes me think that his motives are far from pure. |
