He makes some very good arguments and some interesting attempts to cover plot holes (some of which I don't see as plot holes, as I don't agree with the arguments), but I think that for one, people want a Human hero - a machine hero is not going to be well received even if it is an interesting idea. For another thing, I think the latest trailer reveals enough about the story to discount these ideas.
