vogue back then (13 years doesn't seem like a very long time to me anymore). In this particular case, I'd have to err on the side of caution. If the husband had anything to do with his wife's condition, then maybe he's afraid she'll snap out of it and rat him out. The only reasonable thing to do is appoint a disinterested third party as her guardian and get full reports on her prognosis done then make a decision. Those of us still alive and kicking need to deal with this personally on a going-forward basis.
