but that is well known to (or inferred by) most of us. Illiad's diary gets modded just like anyone else's. His posts in the forum get modded that way, too.

I'd say that not modding him yourself is the right thing to do at this time, though. Mention it privately to one of the other mods and let them exercise their judgement.

Don't let us make you nervous and do something you regret, but also don't feel afraid to take action that you think is appropriate. Mods can be unmodded, disablements enabled. So just continue being as professional as you can when you take (or decline to take) action and that'll keep the feathers as smooth as possible.
