what she would have to say about it - the crucial point being that if you believe her husband, she already had her say, and it was "don't keep me strapped into a bed as a vegetable." Now whether you do believe her husband is a separate issue, and it's a damn shame that she didn't have anything in writing to clarify. But a person does (or should) have the right to make that sort of decision, and no-one else should have the right to change it for them after the fact.
