    Not a feasible solution. by McNutcase2003-10-22 00:15:10
Ha! No maintenance and a 486. Cheap enough? by curly 2003-10-22 10:27:53
I have a couple of Coyote linux boxes running of write-protected floppies. "Mainetance" consists of hitting the reset button if I suspect even the possibility someone is trying to get through it.

The boxes are left-over 486's. I've heard on usenet and mailing lists of people supporting major bandwidth using 386DX boxes, but nowdays you can get 486's and low-end pentiums for practically nothing. Someone you know is probably throwing one out!
