...where the line is on that, but I imagined the law was similar to that of the US Constitution. I figured a while back that it's a battle between what's right and what's legal, and at the end of the day it's only what's legal that counts. I was a wee bit shocked yesterday when I heard our illustrious legislature was giving the governor the power to overrule the judicial branch. I thought that was setting a dangerous precedent. Whether or not you believe the woman should die, surely nobody can think it's A Good Thing for the governor to be unshackled from his checks and balances.
