I take it it's a desktop machine using DHCP as all good network admins do for companies? In which case, it's almost certain to work. You don't necessarily have to print unless your hard drive is NTFS or you lack a floppy drive or a networked fileshare. If you have floppy, Linux can read it and put a nice jpg or something there what you can print from Winders. Ditto with a networked fileshare. Simple.
