What Linksys model is this? The one that I have is manageable _only_ from the hard-wired protected ports, not the wireless side or the WAN port. And I'm not sure what you mean by "router management software", the only "management software" that came with mine was the Web based application built into it. Not much different in that regard from the Netgear unit sitting right next to it.
