Naming cats something good is tough. My ex-husband named his two cats Lancaster and Draidl. I named my two cats Gatsby and Octavia. After Gatsby died, I got Sonny. My sailor had his cat Minou (I told him what it meant in French, but he was undeterred) when he moved in with me. Their names get shortened anyway, except for Sonny's, to Tavi and Nou-nou.
