concerning hungarian notation by Garath2006-11-19 12:55:59

    a very bad idea ... by Slamlander 2003-10-22 02:17:53
and I swear that the inventor was really a Pole. I was around when it was invented. The original idea was to prefix each defined name with type information. This simplified things in type-morphic languages like COBOL and BASIC. However, in C/C++ it actually aids obfuscation, especially when the code is ported to different processor environments, where type data has different contextual meanings.
