is it bad if one of my hard drives is singing? by cybergeek 2003-10-22 01:03:17
not, like, musically, but one of 'em (not sure if it's the 3GB system disk or the 6GB storage disk) was emitting a high-pitched whine earlier tonight - like, an hour ago. I shut the machine down, and that seems to have remedied the 'problem' for now, but is this something i should worry about? do i need to go disk hunting?
