Okay, how's this for an idea? Could it work? by MajorG17 2003-09-17 18:41:11

Fade up from black.
Scene: Black and white images of unattractive people
going through these hardships

NARRATOR: Going out to a concert can be very expensive, and one often has to travel to get one, or at least wait a long time before their favorite band just happens to come on tour in their area. Once they go through the harrowing experience of getting the best tickets they can afford, they have to sit so far back that the artist on stage might as well be Arnold Schwarzenegger, for all they can see. And then, if the band happens to play a boring song, they have to either wait and sit through it or just leave. Isn't that a horrible experience?

Some of these problems have already been solved, though, through the wonders of concerts on Pay-per-view television. Unfortunately, that medium is also restrictive, so it bring up separate problems. Firstly, youre forced to watch the exact part of the stage that the director wants you to see, disallowing you the flexibility you would have had by going there in person. You also lose that freat interaction with the other fans who are enjoying the live show at the same time.

Cut to scene:

Don't lose hope, folks! Thanks to the magic of streaming ausio and video, these restrictions can be a thing of the past, with Web Concerts! For a very reasonable price, you can sit in the comfort of your own home and watch a concert live on your computer. Since we have strategically placed many cameras around the concert area, you have the ability to switch to the view of whichever camera you want, whenever you want! And, if you get the special V.I.P. package, we?ll also have some cameras backstage for you!

Also, say goodbye to just sitting through those songs that you don't quite love -- with Web Concerts, we have lots of stuff for you to do, from playing online games to answering trivia questions about the band, the venue, and music in general. Or, at any point, you can join in on the fun in the chatroom, and discuss the concert (or anything else) with the other web-fans!

When you've finished the Web Concerts experience, be sure to visit our online store, where you can get t-shirts, mugs, and more. One of our top-selling items is a custom-made DVD of the concert, with YOUR choices of what camera angles to use and when. This is quite popular because it provides a higher resplution version of the experience.
