It *seems* that dir returns errorlevel 0 if files are found, and 1 if not. "dir /ad" will list only directories... "/s" is the switch for recursive...

It could be done with REXX, but I'm not sure how to do it with vanilla batch files. Can't get dir to give a nice, usable list of just directory names (/w is the closest I can get).
